Don't know what makes an infidel such as myself feel so in the Eid spirit. I've donated some money to various workers as the Eid tradition dictates and go around saying "Eid Mubarak" to anyone whose Muslim... Except for the small colds we've caught, Reina and Dia are extra happy too. Since Ramadan is over and Eid has come, people are in a very good mood -It reminds me of New Years and X-mas day all on the same day -Minus the champagne and wine.
We are especially jolly because our shipment arrived four days ago. Our home is now a real home. Dia runs around the house playing with all of her designated toy stations; Reina vaults up and down the stairs like Martha Stewart on speed; and I've locked myself in the garage playing with tools and wood.
How simple we are. Content with things we once took for granted.
