Austrian Xmas 2008

With the help of Reina's mom, we were able to leave Dia after Christmas and fly off to Germany. We then took a train to Austria and rode the mountains near Innsbruck. We've never been anywhere before where Xmas felt so magical. The Germans and Austrians celebrate that time of the year with holiday markets and fantastic pageantry. Best of all, the snow conditions and terrain were world class -We rode for five days straight.

Before returning to Saudi, we checked out Munich. Similar to Austria, the people were affable, food hearty and beer flowed endlessly. I wonder if Europeans ever feel envious of the States when they come to visit us?
